“The end of all our exploring / Will be to arrive where we started / And know the place for the first time”
T.S. Eliot

There are things we cannot do on our own

That bleeding heart
It is the well from which
So many words
Are bubbling forth again.
I thought it had run dry.

God, the Great Friend,
Had been hiding
Seeking refuge
Waiting for His Friends
To help him
For there are things
None of us can do on our own.

That Friendship between Him and me
He needs that as do I:
Someone to lean on
To be heard by
And be seen,
To be Himself
In full sight
To feel called for
And trusted that
My eyes will see
Where He did not know
That He was blind.
